As a defence supplier, our customer needed to undertake the comprehensive, well-documented test and evaluation (T&E) of their vehicle – a heavy equipment transporter – before they could deliver it to market.
They needed to test the performance and operation of every aspect of the vehicle – not only the manoeuvring and handling over varied terrain, but also the systems, night vision compatibility, comfort of the seats and more. Seeking a trusted partner to help them put together a test program for the vehicle, they turned to FMV T&E.

The solution: FMV Land Test Centre in Skövde
At Skövde Land Test Centre, FMV T&E’s experienced vehicle test management team were able to work together with the customer to develop a suitable test program for the vehicle.
Our test track offered the perfect mixed terrain on which to test the vehicle’s manoeuvrability. We were also able to assist the customer with situation awareness system testing, night vision compatibility and seat comfort tests, as well as control panel installation.

The result: A green light for verification
At the end of the project, we were able to hand over a thorough and detailed report with all the test results, enabling the customer to continue on to the next stage of their developmental testing, and to eventually deliver the vehicles to their own customers.
